If your Invisalign provider uses a state-of-the-art iTero™1 scanner, they can quickly and precisely create a detailed, 3D scan of your current smile and map out the custom treatment plan for your new one. So, you’ll know what exactly to expect at every step. Plus, you’ll even see a sneak peek of what your new smile could look like.
When you pick up your first set of Invisalign aligners, your dentist or orthodontist will check them to make sure that they fit correctly . They will also schedule a series of regular, check-ups to monitor the progress of your new smile. You’ll regularly change to the next aligner in the series as your teeth shift during treatment.
Like all teeth straightening treatments, including braces, once you’re done with your Invisalign treatment, you’ll need to wear a retainer to keep your teeth straight. Depending on your dentist or orthodontist, you’ll be offered custom-made Vivera™ retainers that are crafted using the same technology as your Invisalign aligners.
After scanning your current smile, your doctor will use our advanced and proprietary treatment planning software to create a custom-made plan for your new smile.
